So this is Passo Del Stelvio day. Leaving Lake Maggorie this morning, we knew we had some urban traffic to deal with, but by christ, the Italians really don’t know how to drive!!

Anyway...we arrived in Bormio so had a spot of lunch.....a rustic sandwich

At this little cafe....

Once we’d carbed up, it was off to the Passo....

We spent last night in Ockfen, and heading back into France this morning for a day in France, where hopefully they can drive a bit better. The driving standard over here this year has been truly appalling!

Very much so....in total, we had 15 mins of drizzle in Suisse, and 3 mins drizzle in Germany

The rest of the time the temps have ranged from 22 - 41 degrees celsius and

Think you will find France a tad more quieter given the amount of Police and Gendarmerie radars out there at the moment.

So Weds night we ended up in Lenzkirch , which was nestled in the Black , as we wanted to hoon around some of the glorious B roads....

Digs were fine...Hotel Schworer:

Food was nice.....

was excellent....

We found Arsey’s next ‘best adventure bike ever in the world’.......

.....and also a potential new gaff for him as he’s on the hunt for a new place......

Thursday would see us head further north into the Black .....next instalment from Ockfen.
