For Sale Anderson Belt 32-34”

I bought 2 belts for 10 Euros in Spain. Very stretchy and not in the same league as this one. They are ok for holiday shorts only, as are most of the cheap offerings.
If the price drops any more, I might be very tempted!

THE WORLD'S FINEST MOTORCYCLE BELTS
The best way to keep your pants on!
We introduced these belts last year. Personally, I think they are the dog's, and I was convinced that our customers would be impressed by them, and would become equally enamoured.

Not everybody here at the ranch was as convinced, especially when you bear in mind that you can get a belt that looks similar from John Lewis for less than half the price.

But it would seem that I did not get it completely wrong. Despite the price, these belts have a higher rate of sale than anything else we offer.

The only problem is that these belts are made to order. The process is not quick, and Andersons never seems able to make as many as we want. Despite this, we reckon we currently have enough stock to see us through Christmas, although these things can never be relied upon.

Anderson's belts
Now, long had I been convinced of the benefits of a stretchy, woven belt for anchoring a pair of motorcycle jeans at the correct height.

Most motorcycle belts are thick and heavy, leather affairs. They're consistent with the 'tough guy' aesthetic that many of us bikers, somewhat delusionally, still cling to. And, of course, such belts will do the job; they will hold your pants up, although a leather belt will always relax a little, meaning that your pants will sit a little lower towards the end of the day. Heavy leather belts are also not always particularly comfortable. A thick leather belt can be quite stiff. The wider the strap, and the thicker the leather, the less comfortable a leather belt can prove, as it digs into the waist. And when you're facing hours in the saddle, that's not always an alluring prospect.

A stretchy, braided belt is the best way to keep your jeans in place.
An elasticated, woven belt is so much nicer to wear on the bike. And offers many benefits. It will give a little when you get onto the bike to accommodate the fact that everything has a tendency to go south when you're in the riding position. An elasticated belt will allow you to dictate precisely where you want your jeans to sit, whether it be on, above, or just below, the waist. You can loosen the belt to lower the hem of the pant when you're on the bike. And then tighten it off the bike to remove the 'crumple' of the denim around the ankle. In theory, you could do this with a leather belt, but a leather belt will never have the micro adjustability of a woven one. A leather belt will never be as comfortable. And a leather belt will never stay in the same place all day long in the way that a woven belt will.

Now we spent many years looking for the perfect belt for a motorcycle jean. And, working with Anderson's, we think we have created it. Our belt is made to our specific requirements by a company that is considered by many in the fashion world to be the maker of the very finest.

Thanks Finn, I thought I’d priced it very reasonably at £60 and can’t believe the angst it’s caused

My last word on this belt is that I’d remembered seeing it mentioned in GQ magazine on a less is more feature of Gentleman’s essentials; Tony Parsons and Ozwald Boateng both ✅ as one of their essentials..Both permafrost kewl IMO..

As stated mine was over £100 as I believe it was a Ltd Ed and purchased in a boutique in Floral Street, Covent Garden which never helps.

Personally I love my Anderson belt, and think it’s too good to wear on a motorcycle, but would certainly purchase this one to do so at £50 if only it fitted me..😉

Brilliant belts. Bought one a couple of years ago and it’s so comfy I use it daily and not just on the bike .
Would have bought this but it’s too small.
A bargain for the discerning tosser. Unfortunately many aren’t as proven by this thread .

Is it still possible to invoke Timmy's Rule on these for sale threads?

You can but that doesn’t allow for other people’s stupidity.
You will always get those who piss on others for sale threads because they think they’re doing everyone else a favour.
If you have nothing positive to say STFU.

Still for sale and measurement below
