In accordance with the honorable Vern's wishes, new thread duly started.

Wednesday 27th December meet at Abergavenny bus station for 10am Departure. Proposed route is approx 170 miles but with a couple of loops that can be cut if time gets away from us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday 28th December meet at Abergavenny bus station for 10am Departure. Slightly shorter route (130Ml approx) using some, but not all of the same route but in the opposite direction.

Both routes cross Hay bluff and Epynt Army range, neither has any off road sections, and both avoid the overdone (IMHO) Elan Valley/Abergwesyn routes. Lunch stop will be Sennybridge Cafe if open (checking this weekend)

Everybody, from anywhere is welcome. To avoid any pressure "to keep up" we will be using the drop off system, which if you are unsure off will be fully explained at Abergavenny7 before the starts.

To try to gauge likely turn out on each day I have started a poll. However, I do stress ALL are welcome, voted or not

Depending on weather and numbers it may be cut a bit further

My plans for joining the run-out on the 27th. have just been scuppered by my partner's family invading on thet instead of Boxing Day

What version is this Dennis? (Route for 27th)
I get a message saying this is City select version 4 and I don't have it installed (not sure what version I have) I can save it and load it but cannot use the route on my 2610 without recalculating

This is due west of the Ystfandfellte Reservoir and I aim to catch you all on the uphill blast (but not if you change your route )

This is 65 miles of your route and I estimate that you will be there at 11.15 to 11.30 ish depending on your start time of course

(Last ride I did with you all was Gerry's ride last Easter)

Well you have missed the 27th now Mike.. you get another chance on 28th I believe
