That's because it's an insurance backed product The underwriters can stipulate whatever they like as a pre-condition to issuing the policy.![]()
Warrenty Direct only stipulate you use a VAT registered garage......that cuts out the cowboys
The problem with getting info from other owners is it won't mean didly if the FD fails and BMW say the bike missed it's April service.
BMW will say go f*%k ya self even if you got a gold plated service record and the FD fails, ...........dont matter what cut of Pork you are.

The service book is stamped correctly.
It's just had a 6K service - The next service is due at 12K or a year from the last annual service, which was done in april 2010.
Anyway, to add a bit more to the confusion pot the service indicator in your instrument panel will also flash up and let you know when it needs servicing.![]()
Nothing to add really, other than it's every 6,000 and/or annually, that's why we can also offer a combined service if the bike is close to an annual if your in for a mileage service.
Glad you enjoyed the open weekend, why don't you pop down and we'll show you how and why we arrived at our recommendation of an annual in April.
Regards
Paul

I will probably drop in to Bahnstormers to get their explanation of why my GS needs two annual services a year
When did we say that?
A 6k and an annual yes, but never two annuals.
Get yourself down here and we'll show you why and what the differences are.

I do a lot of repeat business with companies who are decent, I also pass recomendations to friends / colleagues etc and yes I like to complain when unhappy.

Really? ...... I hadn't noticed![]()
