Annual service - What a screwup

Personally I think you have a result, what more could the dealer do ?
He has admitted liability and has stated that the bolts will be fixed free of charge (result)
Also you have a free oil change on your next service, The oil I would imagine will cost about £25 trade.
So you will have new bolts and £25 of oil, do you think he would have taken the work on if he knew that it would cost him money..Well done to the dealer I say...

After 20 minutes on the phone with a dealer my conclusion is that the annual service is pointless unless your bike is under warranty, up to 2 yrs since new or extended. According to BMW I would need the 12k service in August and then go back after very little mileage for the annual Just stick to a service every 6k and make sure the annual / bi-annual triggers are fulfilled (mainly brake fluid, gearbox oil, and rear drive oil).

The rest is boll*cks IMHO!

Nonsense... what the OP described is a combination of sharp practice and incompetence IMHO.
