Anodizing

Does anyone know where in the UK or Europe I can re-anodize the black aluminum trim panels on the side of the tank of my R1200 GSA and the approx. cost?? The colour will be black again.

if the bike is still under warranty get them changed by BMW mine were and they did

It was my doing. Whatever you do dont polish/wax these parts since they become very patchy looking and that is permanent.

When I marked my (silver) ones with polish I removed it with the stuff that is sold to bring back black plastic looking like new (called 'back to black' over here).
Might be worth a try?

Just get them powder coated it's better & won't mark with cleaning products

Powder coaters are everywhere, adonising is more specialist.

He is in Cyprus not Greece and believe me, in both countries, there are plenty of specialists in all vehicle related jobs.

Google will still help (try "ανοδίωση" or even "ανωδίωση") - after all it IS a Greek word, right?
