Time for another CENTRAL LONDON dinning experience?

Thursday 16th July

Pub bit will start at 6pm as that's when I get out of work :D

The Sun & Thirteen Cantons - 21 Great Pulteney Street
Bike parking directly outside pub in bike bays. Does cost money.
NCP on Brewer Street for £4 much nicer


Eating will start when we get bored of the pub
Fung Shing - 15 Lisle Street

Short walk but not too far from Pub. If people can't be arsed to walk then there will be nearer options

Sadly have to report that it's not as good as it once was. Have eaten there for years and it has always been our favourite Chinese. Last night was pretty average though, my wife's starter arrived after all 7 of us had finished, and we had to chase 3 times....The food is still good, the Aubergine stuffed with pork is a great favourite...but the service is definitely off the pace. It badly needs re-decorating, the upper part of the restaurant feels rather like a sports-hall it's so bright and devoid of atmosphere.

So...we won't be back until we see some change, a shame.
