Hi folks....

some assistance with a photo for this topic would be really useful if anyone could oblige?

Basically... my throttle cable disintegrated not long after collecting the bike from the dealer.. bike was returned to them and said cable was replaced under warranty.
Unfortunately , now the new cable doesn't appear to have been routed in the correct place and so whenever on full / close to full lock either way it is snagging on the ABS pipes and the bike is revving its tits off.
I have tried to sort it but without disconnecting the cable and re-routing it can't be done.

This is quite frustrating when manouvering the bike as if i have the clutch dipped in, one slip and the bike will shoot out from underneath me. Plus i look a tw*t when parking as the bike is revving its tits off.

UNIMPRESSED with the constant incompetence of the dealer i have had the misfortune of having to deal with.

would anyone be kind enough to take some photos of their cables so i can see where theirs has been routed from factory? All around the handlebars and specifically the left side of the forks underneath the ignition barrel?

:bow

Had this when I fitted fork socks!! lol I had routed cables wrong side of RH fork.

I just undid forks enough to drop RH and push cables correct side.

Probably got it sorted now but can oblige with pic if in doubt/not sorted.

I had a similar MoT fail, found out the cable was wrong side of ABS pipework and was not routed through the hole in the plastic shield, took fxxkin ages to sort and got filthy doinf it, but the results were magic.
