I'm also after a Tour X in the Challenge Red colour.
Did u get one from shop2biz,as per your link above?
They only show plain colours available and they also advertise them at £239 as against £349 MRP.
But the normal price for plain colours is only £299-it's just the patterned helmets that are £349-so that's a bit misleading,I feel,and nothing like the 31% saving they claim !!!

She sourced a lid that was not listed on their website and she came up trumps. A huge saving for a Euro spec lid.

Especially the original Simpson Bandit (i used to have one till some low life stole it) and the rare and very innovative French GPA (my mate used to have one back in 1983) what ever happened to GPA??

The red Simpson is actually an RX - 1 ...known as the 'Starwars' model...and was in existance about 14 years before the first Bandit model appeared ( ) in 1988/89.
It`s made from carbon fibre/Kevlar mix and is just about the most evil looking helmet I`ve seen...

The black 'Simpson' that looks like a Bandit model is a Super Bandit copy made,rather confusingly, by a company called 'Bandit Helmets'.
( The Super Bandit shape is different from the ordinary Bandit and it has side 'dimples' and vent slots in the top ).

Like bikergary mentioned earlier, has anyone tried the S4 from Airoh?

Its the quarter of the price, yet looks similar.

Personally I can't see why motorcyclists wear black or dark colours at all.
White or Yellow is the only choice to be seen in for me, be seen don't melt into the background, with a black helmet black leathers and black boots on a black bike unless you like practicing emergency stops ...........often :blckeye

Disagree with Bananaman..........apart from its your choice.

Colour. The image of a motorcycle presents many different colours, some bright, others dull. These splashes of colour may help to break up the outline of the motorcycle in the same way as the number of different shapes will.
