Well, someone once said there is no such thing as stupid question. Personally I think he was a complete :homer!!!

Just completed a 2,500 mile, 8 day trip around europe and decided that my Yamaha FZ1 (yes, swear word) is NOT the right bike for it.:eek

Should have bought the GS in March, damn it! :blast

So, I'll shortly be asking all sorts of silly questions in a quest to understand more about this wonderful phenomenon known as "GS 1200 ADV".

Rode one for 3 hours at Woolaston Motors in Northampton and I'm no considering pawning everything I own (and some things I don't!) in order to purchase said bike.....:gringo

Thoughts appreciated

Hi Pale & welcome to the site, hope you enjoy your stay :thumb
Only advice I would give is "go for it" you won`t be dissapointed with either the GSA or Woolastons. :clap

I'm also in the unfortunate position of having Pale as my neighbour. So if he wins, I'll be reminded of it each time he opens his garage:green gri

What's stopping you now then? :nenau

You know what you want and you've got a mate next door to ride it with :thumb2

Go for it, you know it makes sense :bounce1
