hello,
after months of waiting (500 quid deposit paid on the 3rd week of august) my red, black, black, alarmed, spokes and heated grips ultimate riding machine is finally here at the dealers. yeh!
did the finance today and hopefully can pick it up on friday if the insurance cover note arrives first post on friday morning. if not, then it will have to be next monday.
speaking of finance, the rates offered by bmw are very good at 3.65% flat rate.
but there are conditions; such as spreading the hp over 36 months and the amount borrowed must be over £5k. fair enough, as christmas is coming anyway, so there is no point giving a bigger deposit! cool.
one bloody draw back though, where and when will i be able to cover 600 miles on it so that i can get the first service this year?
as up here in dundee, scotland they have started to grit the bloody roads!
bloody crappy weather we have here, guys, comparing to you lucky lot south of the border...and for those who stay in cyprus, spain, south africa and australia. lucky gits!
anyway, going to enjoy this dream machine as much as i can and hope to see fellow riders of the same marque somewhere and sometime.
and this is for the dutchman: when the bloody hell are you going to let some of us see photos of the 'colour coded' huggers, man?
been waiting for ages, you know!
there are a few indecisions, too: not sure whether to get colour finish or carbon finish huggers and not sure whether to get a rounded givi or a rounded hepco and becker or the square bmw top box. too many combinations to choose from!
happy riding, guys!
