Another RT Newbie

Hi All .

After a test ride 2 weeks ago I traded my 2012 gs for the new RT . Have to say it's brilliant !!! Smooth effortless power and handling make the bike a joy to ride.Looking forward to many great trips beginning with 1 week in France at the end of April . The better half loves it (the bike) snuff said .

am tempted.......... didnt want to invest so much on a bike, but seem to have an itch that needs scratching!! Scared to have a test ride as I fear that will be me parting with my cash!

Cant wait to pick mine up tomorrow, then ride down to Cornwall for the weekend.

I traded in my 2013 GSA immediately after tested the new RT. I also tested the new GSA, as that was the bike i'd intended to go for.

But the RT just blew me away, and just made more sense as a long distance road bike.

hi Johnny ,im new too , i did exactly what you did , traded in after i had rode it ...i actually rode it well before the Official Launch so got a head start

Test rode the RT and GSA back to back a couple of weeks ago, expecting to be ordering the GSA (had 2 previously & a twin cam GS) but came away having ordered the RT. Really enjoyed the ride & came to the conclusion that I fancied a change. Bike due in to the dealers w/c 19 May - just in time for the better weather

I picked up mine last Thursday, Monsoon conditions all the way home, (Rain Mode was Good) been raining mostly since I picked it up, looking forward to a warm day when I can use the dynamic mode to the full, great bike.
This was a change from a 2011 RT and the difference is huge

was gonna be my next question!! I had a 2009 GSA - best bike I have ever ridden and I regret selling...... Do like the RT's so was wondering if the new price tag is justified OR should I get an offer on the old model............

Hi Dave Havnt any pics yet and wouldn't have a clue how to post them on here ! Mines in Quartz
blue metalic SE spec with a top box and nav 5 fitted . The demo we took out was a Le and the Good lady wanted one with a radio until we discovered it was an extra £ 1,500 ! crazy . I've downloaded lots of music to the sat nav and that has kept her happy .I need to get some miles on it for the running in service before heading to France but have a run to Glasgow next Friday with a mate to get his Ducati serviced .
