Another shock question

I'm going to have spanky spanglers fitted to my nice 1150 GSA in the spring, maybe nitrons or Wilbers or hyper pro not sure yet.
I was wondering is the OE front and rear shock from the GSA 1150 suited to the standard GS ?
I was going to have the ones coming off the GSA rebuilt with hyper pro springs for my lads standard GS.

They are both different in that they are about 10mm longer, they fit straight on, but the Hyperpro progressives are quite a bit firmer than stock GSA springs if he isnt a big lad he might prefer a linear 155kg spring etc. I have exactly what you suggest on my GS and love it but I am fully grown......

Oh yes about 30mm into sidestand helps keep it upright...
