Popped down to NOG today to get a tank bag for my 56 plate GS, popped it on the bike, felt and looked good not too big, good size, liked the way it clipped on. I asked how much it was (knowing full well its £160 ish) he came back £149, but said he would check. Back inside, he said actual retail is £165, but i can let you have it for £149

Also picked up one of those plugs for canbus lead, they had 30 in stock

Couple of questions, is it just me or do they give good wind protection? Felt a lot less wind buffeting blasting along. Also not glued the bottom zip in place, but it looks fairly solid anyway, unzipped the bag, and the pad stayed were it was, did not look like it would fall down, even pushed / wiggled it, stayed in its position.

GSA would have been nice, but when i am on my normal GS, loving every minute, ended up doing 60 miles just popping to NOG, it was cold, wet, very wet. But heated grips were on, tunes were in, roads empty

Bike was bought from NOG, and its actually closer for me (i am on the bucks/oxon/northants border)

Plus ride there is better

Going to Wollastons next week, to get some autocom fitted
