I can recognise Cliviger gorge and Peel tower. Looks like a nice day out, bit dry to have been this weekend though :(

John

Well done on Cliviger, but tricked on the pointy thing - actually Stoodley Monument.

quite a squeeze in places :clap

Yes was a squeeze - look carefully and you'll see on one shot that I've just come half way down a rock step and got the cylinder wedged on rocks either side of the trail.

Ho ho.

The last 2 photos are the Pack horse bridge at Wycoller and dry-stone walling at Coldwell Reservoir, Nelson :thumb

Although I think the last pic looks like the great wall of China.

BTW I saw similar walling in Baluchestan in Pakistan - obviously the Victorian Corporation Waterworks design was shipped over there!

I know the GS looks formidable from the front, but steady on .... don't run 4X4s off the road.

The Easter Island statue with the sardonic Yorkshir grin I like.
Where can I buy one for the garden ? :thumb

Just gave the 4x4 a shove with the GS Crashbars ;) Really though he was a young lad working for the Environment Agency - too courteous letting another car past and slipped into the ditch - we tried to get him out but had grounded out on the rear axle and towbar. Had no diff locks - called a tow truck.

The big statue - great eh? For your garden - maybe find something at:
