Thinking of bringing my gang to the Antrim coast are for a few days after Easter. Any recommendation for a nice place to stay along the Larne - Portrush coastal strip perhaps even over towards Derry would be gratefully received. Must have good family (kids 10-19yo) orientated accommodation, ideally with a swimming pool, but thats not a deal breaker. 'Family' rooms would be perfect. I'm presuming that the Carrickarede rope bridge be back in place by Easter?
I'll spend a while browsing the Discovering Ireland thread after the Wales v France match, but feel free to recommend/advise :thumb

fullerton arms, balintoy,[2 mins from rope bridge] good food, live music, reasonable prices.:beerjug:

+1 for Ballintoy and Ballintoy harbour, Giants Causeway is good too, even above all the tourist sh!te at the top :thumb Joeys bar in Ballymoney to see the great mans bikes.

When yer travelling up the coast and you fancy a wee fish & chip, don't pass the Galley in Carnlough without going in. The best fish in the north bar none.

Well, Fullerton Arms booked for five of us for three nights Easter week (hope I'll be welcome in me Padraig Pearse commemorative T-shirt for Easter Monday....:augie)

It better be good, you guys.........I can always find out where ye live.....:aidan
