Okay Sgt Mike has posted the pig and it should be with me in 5-6 days.
Please stay tuned to the Bacon thread on ADVrider, as after my stint the little fella will want to be heading north... a symbolic meet at Carter Bar or somesuch may be a good place to hand him (and quite a large box of gubbins) on...

Chris, there's a meet at Boxertools' bench for the SS next saturday (6th December) which might be ideal for me handing it over to someone else (calling Wully!)

I'd seen the Boxertools' bench thread ....and it is a bit far for me this time of year, so if Wully or somebody halfway can "pass the pig" and put pics and post on the thread on ADV, that would be great..
The wee porker has a logbook, map (to fill in, as he travels with you) and a shoe-box full of clobber and bits and bobs of souveniers with him, which you may also add to ( I put a couple of stickers in so far..)...

I could meet you in Edinburgh before I head up to Glen Lyon if that's any good? Or maybe someone from Edinburgh or the borders area could act as go between between me and thee during the week?

Edinburgh is okay for me .... barring owt else coming up I will PM you closer the time.
Only problem with that being I would need to be on the road from Edinburgh to Glen Lyon by about 10:00. That might be too early for you getting up from Northumberland
