Any body else still waiting ?

Mines built too - on the 18 June - thanks for the link - is there anyway to trace where it is now?
Cheers
Jon

Bike is finaly here after a 5 month wait collect it next Friday, still waiting on the pannier locks which i ordered as soon as i had the chassis number boxes are here tho :beerjug:

Its arrived! Picked her up on Friday and managed a couple hundred miles so far. Bike is just fantastic and really enjoy riding her. Just wish work didn't get in the way.:thumb2

After waiting nearly 3 months I picked up my GSA on Friday (with luggage, but no locks) and have done 900 miles in the 4 days since. It is an awesome bike! And the gear shift assist pro...just do it!

Although specified 3 months ago the alu luggage was ordered by the dealer 3 weeks before the bike was due, but was delivered on time. Locks for vario boxes can be keyed by the dealer however locks for the alu boxes have to be keyed at the factory in Germany, and can only be ordered by the dealer once the VIN is known. With the VIN not known until 7-10 days prior to delivery, but locks taking ~3wks to arrive (according to the dealer), it's a pretty crap system that BMW have put in place.

Any body else still waiting

Mine should have been built on 30th June :blagblah will be checking with dealer ASAP to see if the order has been updated, I have tried using the VIN checker but nothing is returned

Will also get them to advise on status of Luggage locks as I haven't been told there is a problem, but that will just be the usual wait until I ask and then tell me way that dealers work :augie

Should land in the UK on the 7th July, so all being well I think I may get it mid/end July :bounce1

Ordered mine 3 weeks ago it's due w/k 23 July my fingers are tightly crossed all is well. Am going to check with the dealer this week. I ordered the alu panniers with my GSA nobody mentioned delays with the locks.
Spending my time trying to save up for the akroprovic. :)

Spending my time trying to save up for the akroprovic. :)

Nothing against the Akro cans but it's a lot of dosh for something that changes the sound slightly, and power little at all. If you've not already factored it in, get the gear shift assist pro as the higher priority. It gives a grin far greater than that from any aftermarket pipe I've ever had on a bike...! Having now got it and used it for several hundred miles I'd gladly have paid double for it.

Collect mine tomorrow after 5 month wait no panier locks tho ordered them 7 june !

Placed my order with luggage 9th May, rang dealer last friday to enquire about any issues with the Pannier Locks and was told there is no issue and when my bike arrives it will have locks!

So my theory is that the bike will be ready in the next week, but wont get a phone call until the Locks have also arrived 3 weeks later!!

Bike built 2nd July, was at the 'intransit' status and should have landed in the UK 7th July.. give it a week to arrive at dealer and a week to prep, I'm hoping for July19th

Collected mine today only two days later than the original estimated delivery date, spent the afternoon in the dales where it rained :blast sun only came out once i got home but all in all a very pleasant 120 mile ride.:D:D

Wow, why such a long wait?

Phone call from dealer yesterday, bike ready to collect mid week, but yes you guessed it, panniers arrived... No locks!!! Going to be another 2 weeks before they arrive.. FFS

This is after I spoke to them to warn them and was told there are no issues with locks...

Well...I test rode a green TE last Saturday.....rung them up and said I NEEDED a new on Wednesday , and picked my new one up yesterday !!! All done in a wk from start to finish.....feeling very smug......but in all fairness it was a cancelled order ....so thanks for whoever didn't want it :friday

Holiday already booked with old bike plus the new one is a retirement present and I do not get my lumper until 22nd of this month.
It will give me a month to sell mine plus it may as well be on 64 plate
Made the mistake with the last one of getting it 3 weeks before a major holiday and ndver really got to test it out fully laden before the trip, the rear shock failed when away

I ordered panniers and top box and was told 5 days the right side pannier arrived next day and I expect the other 2 in the next couple of days.
I was told I could not order the locks for 2 weeks as there is a problem with them so they won't send any out until it has been resolved.
Any way boxes fit fine without the locks I've just taped the clasp to the frame shut to make sure it doesn't spring open and let the pannier fall.
