I`m after a good cheap satnav that will do b roads
Garmin Streetpilot looks good and is only £150 (not sure if this does b roads ?)

I dont know anything about satnav`s

would the garmin fit my 1200gs or do I need a bike satnav

Do you mean the streetpilot 3? I used one on my GS for a year or so, they are perfectly suited to bike use, fully waterproof.

There are many models of Streetpilot, and the 3 is quite old. By modern standards it's quite slow and it doesn't have much memory (for maps). But for the price, I reckon it's not a bad buy. If you want something more up to date you could consider the garmin Streetpilot 2610 (probably about 400 quid secondhand) or the Quest.

You can get a mount to attach any of these to the GS, from RAM.

Your best bet is to have a browse of the GPS forum on here, and then if you have any more questions, ask in there. But if you use the search function most of your questions should be answered :)

Yes it will fit perfectly well using a Migsel mount.

Try to get the 'go large' version like mine!!!! ;)
