Any great offers on the new 1200GSA 2008?

I'm coming back to the fold, this year made the big mistake and got rid of my 1150GS I had travelled all over Europe on. Hate the Honda I now have and will be ordering a new GSA 08 in the next few weeks.

Has anyone been told of any deals or extras if they order the new 2008 GSA?
I normally get a deal on a new bike, but as this one is not actually out yet, maybe I'm asking a bit too much! ?::jes
 
You'll get a deal on a 2007 GSA, but not a 2008. That'll probably be the case for a few months at least.

Dealers also don't know price or when they'll get stock, so don't hold your breath.
 
You're right - you ARE asking too much :)

you sold your 1150 for a Honda ? :nono (a Vara i presume)

Rudgey is it a Varadero you have? What is it you dont like as I am thinking of going for one next year due to the reliability issues I have had with my GS. Its a great bike but I've lost confidence in it!!!

My 6 pennuth - I sold by 1100GS after touring Europe on it then I ended up with a Varadero, It was more comfortable with a better windscreen but the handling was way off the mark as was the fuel consumption (c28 - 35mpg). Eventually I managed to sell it and I bought an 1150GS - It was like coming home to an old friend.

Thinking of selling the 1150GS now to go to a 1200RT.

I have been told the new GS will be £100 more, not bad as it has some of the extras as standard, ie pan / box rails etc.
By the way the Honda I have is the new CBR600RR, great on a track mind!
