Ordered and paid a deposit on 10th September - heard nothing since despite (so far) mild pestrering.

Is this usual BMW dealership malarkey? Get the sale and leave you wondering?

Guess it depends on what you've ordered...if it's a 650/800GS,settle in for a good long wait

Regardless of what you've ordered, you should have received confirmation in writing of the deposit, bike spec, cost & possible handover date.

Don't listen to him
all the other colours are far too popular
Since getting mine in March I haven't seen another Orange one on the road, except in Stockholm, a bit of exclusivity, you see
Besides, if you weren't too sure on the colour when you first get it, from experience, you soon come to love it!
