Any one got a clue what the little black clip that attaches to the handle bars on the right side of the mount is for? Or is it for nothing?

Have searched le google land but no joy.

Not sure if we are talking about the same `little black clip` but I think it is simply a guard against one of the control cables chaffing on the part of the handlebar it touches

a photo might help!

Yeah it's where the cable goes over so makes sence....altho that cable does annoy me being there an not under but hey
