Sorry, just seen this It's a ford on the Lissan Water, a tributary of the Ballinderry River. Not a great angling stream, smallish brown trout most of the year until the big dollaghan run up from Lough Neagh to spawn.
Upstream, the little river powers a hydro-electric turbine in the grounds of Lissan House. It was installed in 1902 so it's one of the earliest examples in Ireland. Lissan House is open to the public, interesting house and grounds Not far from the Cookstown 100 Circuit either
