Any ideas where the ford is....

Out for a spin this morning and came across this. Don't think
this has been used recently.

Down the road a bit was this ford. No problem for Shuckraider. Was a tad deep.

I'm out, sat nav points means nothing to me, but interested to know where it is. Not too many fords here (that i know of)
 
Sorry, just seen this :) It's a ford on the Lissan Water, a tributary of the Ballinderry River. Not a great angling stream, smallish brown trout most of the year until the big dollaghan run up from Lough Neagh to spawn.

Upstream, the little river powers a hydro-electric turbine in the grounds of Lissan House. It was installed in 1902 so it's one of the earliest examples in Ireland. Lissan House is open to the public, interesting house and grounds :thumb Not far from the Cookstown 100 Circuit either :moped:
