hello,

i have had a quick trawl and cant find any headings in the threads for this, so apologise if this has been talked about before.

i have a zumo 550 it has not been used much, and is really as new, ive had it for a few years.

i was deleting some favourites one by one recently and that was that, then today i turned it on and all data had been lost no favourites no home, nothing, so not happy, then this pm i sat an played with it and found the favourites somewhere and input the data??????? but all other data was lost?

any ideas why, can i back up data?

I had a similar problem with my 550 ,try looking at tools/settings/scroll through to map see if map info comes up in centre of bottom 3 buttons ,if it doesn`t ring Garmin on their freephone number and they will e mail you a solution (080823800001) or e mail
