OK, I admit to being a little lazy with this post, but with my memory being what it is and time being a bit short...

Can any of the Aussie GS W owners comment on the issues they have experienced (or heard of) so far with their bikes?

Gearbox, brake pads, switches, drive shafts, tyre wear etc.

I've been discussing the above problems with my dealer and it looks like we must be getting all the perfect bikes over here as BMW Australia have not had 1 issue reported about any of the these.

not sure when I became so skepitical.....

Elle McPherson (sp?) once sat at my table for a glass of wine at All Bar One near Putney, she wasn't really taking me on - not sure i that's what you mean though...

Thanks Newboy....

in that case the answer to my question would be absolutely bloody nothing:drool

lucky bastard

Fuel pump died

My fuel pump died on day 8. BMW struggled to get a replacement. After a week I started annoying the head of BMW Motorrad Australia and a replacement miraculously appeared. Took them about 10 days.

No enduro pro plug under my seat. Still waiting for that to arrive but I am told it is in the mail.

Aussie GS Riders

All Aussie bikes are fine, we buy them with the expectation of using them for their designed purpose not as an excuse to post worrying questions about issues that just might turn up for some one who has a Friday build. Mine has been perfect, in fact it seems to get better and better with milage. I ride in Dynamic mode all the time , love the seating , Brakes , wind protection and engineering.

A lot of people on here could learn from that attitude :thumb2
