The speakers in my C2 were excrutiatingly painful until I took a trip to Autocom. They sorted out the problem explaining that the recesses for the speakers in the C2 are round whereas the speakers are actually oval - and so - by slightly modifying the shape of the recesses the speakers now fit perfectly and I cant feel them pressing on my ears at all! The mod took about 15 mins to do, Autocom didnt charge me anything for doing it and whatsmore they gave me a nice cup of coffee while I waited. The only down side is that you've got to take a run up to Warwick - still, that should only be a couple of hours from Weymouth I should think!
Incidentally, all this talk about the Schuberth C2 being so quiet - well, maybe I've led a sheltered life but my C2 is anything but quiet. When I pointed this out to the dealer that sold me the helmet he said it was down to the crap screen on a BMW GS! No I'm thinking of changing my standard screen for a Nippy Norman one - in the hope that this will eliminate the constant sound of the blowtorch that accompanies my rides (I am quite serious - the noise is unbelievable). Also, it might reduce the head banging from the wind on motorway journeys - that would be nice too!

Like mine but gave up on the Autocom earpieces and went for ear buds in the end. It's a quiet helmet and only mists up if I get really scared.
