I need to know if basic website design software can do a particular job.

I want to set up a webpage that has a username and password field, that once filled in and entered will access an external website, but the page its users see when logging in via the external site log in page. Does that make sense?

For example, if my domain is called www.mysponsoredpage.com, and the external site is called www.neurologyabc.com but when logged into becomes www.neurologyabc.com/userid123, can I embed this into the page at www.mysponsoredpage.com and have the user automatically logged in when the "Enter" button is clicked?

In simple terms yes... but then again you need to know a bit more about it.

If the userID is accessible on the webpage then the site can use those details.

Hope that helps... but like everything it's possible but exactly how depends on the bits.

This is pretty much how most of the adverts work in very rough way...
