anybody fallen out of love with there s10

Bought my first S10 second hand without a test ride, but FELL for it totally on the ride home until I FELL off it and wrote it off - so went straight out and bought a brand new one with the insurance money - and I luuuuvvvv it.

Dunno about fallen out of love with an S10, cant even fall IN love with one. cant find any bugger who's got one for a wee bit of an extended test ride. Apart from one dealer just outside london who decided he can hire me a bike for 24 hours for, ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY QUID.

even Yam Uk cant or dont seem to want to help. Google is still my friend but im getting a wee fucked off with the words, "No sorry sir we cant help"

Balls, feck and damnation to hell or at least Milton Keynes to em all

Shall i get me coat now?????

P&H have one on demo, took it out really wanted one but too much wonga for me at the moment (just bought the wife a new car) looked for secondhand none local couldn't find one
Bought a 990 ktm instead but if that is an unreliable piece of shit like some people say they are the super ten is next bike on my list
Loved it to ride very good on tight B roads I tend to ride very planted
Engine did feel a little flat though but I think that can be worked around as they are a little restricted out the crate.

Thats a little underhanded snidey nasty comment there JB, most unlike you to be so snidey and plain fucking nasty. BS got paid everything they were due from me, The accident that wrote the loan bike off was proven by my witnesses and by the Police not to be my fault so get over it ok. If you have nothing nice or helpful to say then just say fuck all in the first place.

I have taken steps to ensure that a repeat of my unfortunate circumstances with BS could not happen again.

P&H have one on demo. Which Branch of P&H would that be Dazzle. if so I will look into that when I get back, as it would appear that the compensation package from the KNOB who knocked me off Bahnstormers loan bike(writing off their bike, and also my shoulder at the same time) in the first place is now going to be enough to buy me a new one. I really need a longer test ride to confirm whether my shoulder will hold out when I'm riding the thing. Not much point buying it and then finding out I cant ride it for anymore than 10 minutes at a time, dontcha all think....

It's all about opinions and dealers earn a living by pandering to our fickle nature as the grass is always greener etc.

Personally I had a 4 hour demo ride on the new LC GS, and I prefer my S10. I will be leaving for Greece on Saturday on my Yamaha leaving my GS1150 and 1200 Twin Cam in the garage.

Just down the road from you, Infinity have a demo Super Tenere. They've had it for ages so I'm sure would do you a good deal. I took it on a test ride 18 months ago and it convinced me to buy one.

I'm over in Guildford if you want to pop over to chat and have a play with mine.

One thing BMW do very well is demo bikes, no other manufacturer comes close, I have had to buy several new bikes without a test ride, although as I have got older and wiser refuse to do so these days.

I think its dealers as well, I went to KTM in Hemel for a test ride, and was told to take the bike all morning unless I wanted longer, could have had it all day if I wanted.
I love my 990 ;-)
