Anybody fitted one of these?

Maybe try a cut down ice cream tub lid and some tie wraps as a starter?

It's what I'm planning to do before heading up to Scotland in April.

i fitted one, it does NOT improve anything to do with noise or wind. Just a bit of useless plastic thats tidies cockpit up if thats what you want!

Yes did it the other day, very easy, I added the dual USB socket at the same time.

I think this with the handlebar bag will make a difference but currently on its own no. It may heklp with rain spray etc in downpours but who knows.

Certainly not worth £70 odd quid. I do like it for cleaning up the cockpit.

when looking at this, there does seem to be a lot of gaps, so I would be interested to hear how and why this would stop wind noise.
?? would the smaller gaps intensify the air passing through as it will have been squeezed through a smaller area.

or is it a case of, like so many other farkles for these bikes, the "shiny item syndrome" or in this case "black item syndrome"

✌️

It may not have stopped wind but I will definitely say it has lowered road noise from the front wheel

Exactly why I bought mine (I have no issue from wind blowing up there is more noise for me)

I can assure you the one from Wunderlich is by no mean rigid etc....its a pretty cheap flimsy bit of moulded plastic seriously not worth £72 I paid.

But we're suckers for our toys ;-)

Fitted one from Aliexpress. Probably the same thing. Doubt there will be a separate exclusive factory for a bit of plastic. Does cut don on tyre noise and tidys up the front but expect just changing the OE tyres for road tyres would have a bigger effect.
