I've just had the 1000SP carbs vapour blasted and need to check the settings and jet sizes. I've got a new pair of V9 needles ready to go in. The carbs have 10 gram floats fitted and are fitted with K&N filters.

what a marvellous work guzziology is. pity someone doesn't do one for airheads.
a few years ago, i wandered into Motomecca, only to be told i'd just missed the author Dave Richardson. i would have liked to have met him.

20.01; question asked.

i feckin love this place! :clap

Guzziology,
single most useful 'Bike book' i've ever owned.
never had a manual, kept my Guzzi on the road for ten years with just that and internet info and i was a complete Guzzi novice to begin with. Dave Richardson is a genius technical writer. :bow

New needles, jets, points and condensers and we're flying. effortless smooth 100 MPH cruising, fantastic handling. Got to be one of the best Guzzi ever made and none of the miserable buggers on this site wanted it :nenau

I'm going to sell all me BM's and buy a fleet of Guzzi's

Rob,
this miserable bugger hadn't the money - not that i didn't want it!:D
That model was the Guzzi that turned me on to Guzzis. i would love another one! :bounce1
mind you - it'd have to be in a better colour scheme than that..... example. :augie

Oh Good, when can I expect a call? :D

Seriously, I have one of these with a Swallow Jet 80 side car, one of the original steel ones. They're great. I am really surprised no one has been knocking on your door with cash in hand.
