Well, I've been having a bit of a play on here -
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do?vin=&part=&kind=M&arch=0
and here -
http://www.bmwarchiv.de/vin/bmw-vin-decoder.html
The earliest HP2 Enduro frame number I can find is - ZL00001 showing as an August 2004 build date.
The latest HP2 Enduro frame number recognised is - ZL02516 showing as an August 2006 build date.
That would imply just over 2,500 HP2 Enduro's built.
The earliest HP2 Megamoto frame number I can find is ZT95001 showing as an August 2006 build date.
The latest HP2 Megamoto frame number recognised is - ZT96363 showing as a July 2008 build date.
The records only go up to August 2008, so there may be more Megamoto's, but would imply just over 1,300 built so far.
Of course I could be wrong, and misread my findings totally
