The bmw aluminium panniers - i have got the rails/racks but cannot find the panniers! does anyone have any contacts where they can be got? seems a shame to waste the rails and go for a generic ali box with new rails.

Likely cheaper to buy different rails, and panniers to suit. The factory alu boxes fetch eye watering money when they (rarely) come up for sale even well used.

It's not a shame to waste the BMW adv rails/racks. They're shite. Far far too heavy and cumbersome. Take them off and sell them to another twat who doesn't know any better.... Then use the money to buy a decent usable set of panniers. .
