Awesome looking. Many happy miles.![]()

See you have a low seat there biker kitty. Be keen to know how u feel it for comfort
I bought a full spec 90th GSA for only a bit more than some on here paid for a 800GSA te.
Having owned a 800 gs in 08 I think they have really grown the price of this bike. And now even further with the GSA edition.
The quality just isn't there on 800 models, I think they use cheaper components than on a 1200.
So 12k versus 13k seems mad.
I do like the 800 for its light weight and fuel consumption 70 mpg from memory on a run.
But the big GSA makes me smile more and all that goes with it.
I'm interested if someone can do a real life fuel range test. Bmw claim max range of 260 miles but if I get about 60mpg like my current 800, 24 litres would give about 318 miles.
I just did 295 on mine during running-in. There must have been a couple of litres left too because I could fit 22 in at the filling station! Seems to be averaging about 60mpg with gentle riding.

Luke it states in manual plus on filler cap super unleaded...is this the case?
This has been well documented elsewhere. Basically, foreign super is the same as our regular.
I have read so much on the subject both for cars and bikes. I have a Renaultsport Clio and have had a Porsche Boxter S and various others and to be honest I have never been able to tell the difference between regular and super in terms of economy and performance. I have noticed the difference in price though!
The reality is that modern engines and their excellent ECUs are more than capable of compensating for either and reducing knocking effectively. There may be a theoretical performance decrease for a lower octane fuel but neither will damage your engine or really change its characteristics.
There are some who rave fanatically about the subject but frankly, there are a large number of other factors on your daily ride which will affect you more!
I could do with losing a few pounds off my tummy. That would be noticeable in the performance stakes!![]()
