Anyone buying a Multi 1200 Enduro?

Ding-Dong, what were you doing to your 2016 ? There are lots of intestines dangling

I'm a compulsive tinkerer . Fitting a Translogic quickshifter, the coil packs are a bugger to get to and I had to remove the tank, I'd not like to change the plugs on one .

Hopefully I'll be pulling another one apart even more

I take it BMW didn't know that when you rejected all those bikes?:augie:D

Neither does Honda

The great thing about a GS is you can dose it with ACF 50 and then not wash it from Oct to March and although it's covered in crud it looks OK and you know it's a a quick blast with a hose and it's back to normal.

With this duke, KTMs, Triumphs etc I can't help thinking they'd not handle a winters load of crud and I'm not talking about corrosion I'm talking about crud in nooks, crannies and rads etc

Couldn't disagree with you more.

Mates 2012 Explorer....Ridden all year 40k miles...cleans up like new.

My 2013 GS WC many corrosion issues after one winter.

Which is just one of the reasons I now ride a Triumph

What was up with the Ducati Ding Dong? You seem to go through some bikes fella!

It was more shite dealer experience that tarnished the new bike feel, they damaged it how i don't no but they expected me not to notice. When they delivered the bike to myself I gave it the once over and noticed a ding/deep scratch in the belly pan / part of air box that protrudes thro the frame was scuffed / they never connected the fogs up / they fitted a scratched keyless fuel cap and thought I would not notice ! they also ventureshield the bike but it had to be peeled off and done again due to marks in the film, bubbles, edges were lifting. So it was wheeled straight back in there delivery van and taken back to be sorted but the final bullet was on return it leaked brake fluid because they forgot to carry out a proper Pdi.

It was the worse dealer experience I've ever received, the sales bod and dealer principle conflicted each other and were very unprofessional.

I can understand that as I had issues with Ducati Leeds when I had a multistrada. The bike went in for a graunch into second, came back no fault found and a dirty big scuff on the Matt paint frame. their idea of sorting it was trying to polish it out of the Matt finish.:blast

I was especially narked off as I had venture shielded the rest of the bike and it was mint.

I chipped the bike in for another BMW shortly after, the Duc's are epic soulful bikes esp the new DVT, sounds fantastic like nothing else even on the standard can.
