Anyone cut down a standard screen?

I've got a standard screen on my 09 Gs... and a TT lockable spoiler..Together they do a fairly good job ... I've done the GSA screen thing on other bikes, and was wondering if anyone had actually cut down the standard screen... and with what results?

I'm thinking just above the height of the satnav on the bar above the clocks..... Was wondering if it was possible to get clean air around my helmet ( without dropping my flies )

I haven't personally cut one down but I did buy a couple of small cockpit screens at one point. The one with the higher bikini line had been cut down from the larger one. This is the more revealing of the two and certainly did what was required in respect of getting rid of any buffeting at the expense of wind protection to the upper body. In fact, I think they're both still in the garage....
