Spent a while today trying to work out the best place to put them and how I was going to make a bracket if I wanted them high and the same width out as the indicators - anyone fitted these to their GSA if so could you offer any advice as the the best place for fitting?

cree is just a type of LED and doubt most people know what it is, let alone the manufacturers making a big deal about it

Thanks for the correction ! Excusing my ignorance I was hoping for some inspirational ideas on fitting from those who have gone before

I think ...

... that the item Sir requires to locate your new spots level with the headlight are the very rare, and now discontinued GMT light mounts. With apologies to BTBR the only decent picture I can find is of his bike.

Just ignore the lower PIAA's and look at the upper ones; the mount is a machined alloy item that replaces the indicator stalk. Your choice of lights can then be mounted level with the headlight or underslung :thumb

Try placing a wanted add ...

Cree LEDs are supposed to one of the best, can you post pictures of them, I believe 3 leds units of this type can produce 2000 lumens. Seems you have bought well. I am sure people here have used brackets that could be adapted to this type of light.

Only ones I could find were these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycl...cycle_Parts&hash=item2a154ac259#ht_4479wt_698

Thanks - that what I have and the mounting options are limited as I have a HID extra lamp on the LHS - this bracket looks OK but expensive!

Yes that was what I ended up with - just struggling with a suitable fitting position - may end up making a bracket to fix them under the beak

I've always liked the look of the mountings MikeO has on his.....

I have no idea where he got them from, but I'm sure he'd give you the details :thumb2

I think you need a grill for your screen:D

Lights look good tho:thumb

Sadly ...

... not my bike, although I do have PIAA 510's on GMT mounts, just not the lower PIAA's ;)

Found a pic of the GMT mounts that might make it a little clearer :nenau

Have a pair of these on my GS. Bloody bright and gets me noticed. Mounted them on a bracket under the beek that I got from how_much - Dave on this forum.:thumb2

Thanks - that what I went for

Just what I purchased - waiting for the light bar to be sent and then I will upload the photographs and fitting details – looking forward to it…
