anyone got the new akra fitted? listened to a clip on youtube and they sound fantastic! is anyone else doing exhausts to fit yet?

I actually like the original silencer and think it sounds good, however, that Remus looks great on the bike and has, IMO, come on some from the systems they make for the earlier GS's (which I've never liked much).

If it were me I'd prob wait to see what BOS come up with but would defo choose the full Remus system over the overpriced 'official' Akro stuff. Much better value and just as good quality/looks (if not better).

Any way, the above is worth feck all 'cos I've no need to buy one

I agree, the original can looks and sounds ok to me. And with the boxes on to amplify the sound.....

The akropovic is I'm sure, going to look and sound even better but it's a bit steep price wise and I'd have trouble justifying it.

The Remus may be the one I'll go for but that said, I had my last GS 3 1/2 years - always said I'd go for an aftermarket can and never did. When I had the spare cash it went on trips.

Sounds good. More revving and less idling would have been better

I know Ocean are waiting on Akra deliveries to satisfy orders.
Yes a steep price but maybe the sound will be worth it. I await with interest.
