havnt a clue mate but it seems a lot of cash to spend on a bike thats very capable in its standard trim

" up to 7 hp" isn't much of an increase. Maybe if you went for the whole deal and had an exhaust & power commander you'd see 10-15 over stock? Personally I don't think it's worth the effort. I'm not being sarcastic but if I was after that sort of gain and I had the cash I'd simply buy a different bike like a KTM or the new Duke, or even the new GS1200 with the HP2 heads.

If I didn't have that sort of cash and was keen enough to give it a go I do admit it'd be fun sorting the tuning out and seeing what you had achieved on the dyno. The apparent fragility of some parts of the GS (final drive/ odd valve drop) would also put me off a tuning mod that is going to stress these components

That's the info i need. I have already fitted a Power Commander, kn, air snorkell and Arka shotgun system . The bike is fab as it is, these long evenings always cause my mind to wander. Excellent point about the extra stress on already dodgy parts.

save that money and throw it at a wee trip money well spent methinks

Before I even contemplated fitting one of these I would be looking for more information.

How does the cam profile compare to original - is cam duration changed or/and valve lift.

That will tell me if there is a compromise at any rev range inorder to get this increase in power or

if idle will be affected.

It is not always all gain in all areas
