Anyone got a "Basic" LC without ESA etc?

I don't know what mode my basic bike is, throttle seemed sensitive compared to my previous 2010 twin-cam, but I got used to it very quickly and seems utterly normal and easy to control now.

I did wonder about the electronic throttle being over light / sensitive. I have heard reports of the same thing on the Explorer. And I remember what a pita my ktm 990 was with an overgeared cable throttle that meant a bump in the road translated directly into acceleration.

Is it easy to hold a steady 30mph on a pot holed uk street with the electronic throttle on the lc?

Yes - apparently the Explorer's throttle is much lighter still, but it's like all these things you quickly get used to them and they really are a non problem. The LC felt so much 'torquier' and powerful then my old twin-cam when I first rode it but after 9,000 miles it just seems normal to me now - BUT I bet if I went back to the twin-cam it would feel so slooooooooooow.
