Can i completely dis-arm it?Even in service mode it continues to drain the battery and i have no electric in my garage to use a trickle charger.
I have never had an alarm that has not got a completely dis-arm function on it but i am struggling with this one. I sometimes spend alot oftime away and i am fed up with taking the battery out.
It is secure without it at home but i had it fitted for outside work.

Is there a legal way using the fob to dis-arm it.
If you dont want to post here send me a private message.

Cheers in advance.

I have....but it ain't on a Beemer!

So whats wrong with reading the instruction booklet!

On the fob:
Press round button once, turn ignition on within 30 secs= normal operation....you use bike.
Press round button once to arm system. It will automatically arm in 30 secs anyhow.

Press the oval button once to arm nudge/movement detection( arms auto in 30secs)
Press oval button when filling with petrol or moving bike with igntion off.

Never leave unattended in thise mode.

Service/valet mode: with sytem disarmed (round button pressed once and ignition now turned on) press round button and hold until audible bleep heard, turn ignition off. Audible bleep every 15 secs. Press round button to switch back to normal mode.

Hazard warning lights function;ignition off press both buttons together for 3 secs. to cancel press round button.

The system goes into sleep mode when the battery drops to conserve remaining power.

To bring out of sleep mode press and hold round button for 15 secs max.

To choose a different alarm tone, there are 8: engage service mode, press oval button for 3 secs, press again for tones 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 turn ignition off and press round button to accept chosen tone.

Now I'm not going to tell you about the PIN over ride because if the biker second hand you will need to speak to the previous owner top find out what the number is. :)

Realistically you need to arrange some form of battery charging because the alarm system will drain the battery somewhat if left for a long period.

A mate of mine was quoted £300 to remove his datatool from his ZZR600
