how do you like it? is it legal in UK?

going to visit california and was thinking of bringing one back.

if not - what is best exhaust arrangement for 1150 GS twin spark?

(dont want to disturb the neighbours too much but a little more sound wouldn't hurt).

cheers.

Mad mountain man has one on his adventure .

I am told it is quite loud but cant comment as i have never been behind him ;) :D

Have you considered ZTechnik? Aurelius bought one at Daytona and it's the nicest looking after-market system I've seen. Sounds great (much less raucous than a Remus - can't comment on a 2 Bros) & fits easily (once you've managed to get the lambda probe out :D)...$800ish (includes Y piece - titanium construction)...

looks nice... two bros even cheaper... staintune look nice too.
620 USD including can, y-piece, and all the fitting bits/bobs...

I got one for the 1100GS....it is seriously loud and I would think that your neighbours would not be pleased if you left it to warm up for a few minutes every morning. Helps low down throttle response though and removed the annoying surge at around 3,000. It is a quality bit of kit but the alloy (mines titanium) on the can ends is prone to oxidise. I personally like the noise and am convionced that it has saved me from creeping car syndrome on a couple of occasions. Like most loud pipes keep it smooth and low revs through built up areas and it is fine.

sounds so loud i have some strange desire to get one...even thought loudness was my intial concern.

am i bad?

I have one.....

....and it is very loud, I'm going to change it as it sets off car alarms in the underground car park at work. If you want one let me know, it'll only go onto ebay in the next 10 days.

ill pass thx. bought a y-piece from someone on the forum and will fit with a standard can. i will be moving house in a few months and that can will be no way of winning over the new neighbours.... hehe.

I have had both the TB and Ztechnik, and both were too loud. The TB was worse, as noted, setting off alarms in parking garages. I now have a Laser DuoTek and it is perfect.

I'm amazed at you saying the ZTechnic was too loud - it sounded about the same as a std exhaust to me (different pitch, though). This is the small diameter titanium can - is that the same one as you had??
