I have a real headscratcher here.
I have an MRA screen and want to fit the lockable TT 2610 GPS mount I've got onto my Migsel clock mount with Ram ball fitting BUT the TT is too tall. I have considered a longer Ram mount (3" or poss 5") but thought there maybe more vibration caused by the extra length and so affecting good screen visibility on the 2610. It would mean the screen would have to be placed to the left of the display above the temp/fuel gauges.
Has anyone got the same screen, mount and GPS holder combination that can give me some pointers. I don't want to fit the TT holder on the cross bar as I like the GPS up high so don't have to change my line of sight too much when riding. Will fitting a set of Tobinators raise the screen height to allow the TT mount to fit. My present Ram GPS holder is tight to the back of the screen and has caused a small rub mark
I have a set of Adv Tobinators but believe they don't fit the MRA screen unless you go back to a standard 1150 fitting (side mounts). Is this true?
Any help would be appreciated before I spend more money to find out none of it will work in tandem.
Cheers
Steve
