anyone know about Suzuki Burgmans ?

Was thinking of buying one for the Mrs as an xmas present but notice there have been quite a few on ebay with dropped valves/blown motors.

Is this because the sort of people who own a scooter dont look after them or is it an issue ?

also seen a Tmax cheap that's smoking - worth a look ?

I dunno, a dropped valve sounds pretty smoky to me.

Didn't Robbo1200ADV run a Tmax for a while?

I've thrashed ...

... my 2006 T-Max around that there London for the past three years with minimal attention to general maintenance. I have however changed the oil whenever the little japs-eye told me to, and had the belt changed on schedule; it has never failed to start and is plenty of fun, but it doesn't smoke. Personally I'd leave a smoker alone, there's plenty about that don't.

As to the burgervan, my friend has the 400 variant; he's 6'5" and about 22stn and it hauls him about no problem

Well I've bought a 400 with a dropped valve.

cheap obviously

funny but you can get every part 2nd hand except a head and piston

Going to wait and see what turns up
