I don't know the bike but the dvla website states that it was regd in sept 11, mot ran out Mar 16, and tax feb16. I assume the dealer will tax and mot it when sold and it shud come with 12 months BMW warranty. Invest 20 pounds in an HPI check. I wouldn't worry about the mileage, if the service book is up to date (and the 36k service done) my only concern would be whether I could live with the colour. Alan

I have a Sargent seat on mine which is noticeably lower, tippy toes on a GSA is not good.
If you cannot run to that yet ask to try it with a standard (non Adventure) GS seat, that saves a little height as well.
I'm 5'10" and am slightly uneasy about the weight of my (5th) GSA. Riding it is no problem, pulling it in and off the centre stand and wheeling it around my drive is daunting. Really I worry too much, I'm 65 - and have a few years of riding it left.
I have a set of Shine Yellow panels, new and unused if you fancy a colour change, yours for 50% of list price.
Enjoy your bike, it will be the best bike you have ever owned.

Don't bother doing an Hpi check, dealer will have done that for you.
Thanks Alan, I checked, the big 36k service was done including valves etc, and it's had the recalls (fuel flange thingy and rear hub thingy). Test ride end of the week so all being well it'll be my first GS "A" come teatime.
I've only a 32" inseam so it's the tiptoe stance, or remembering to get off more one side when coming to a stop, is my only reservation but I'm sure I'm not the only one.
So...did you buy it? Alan

I sure did mate
Picked it up today, and my original fears re: seat height were gone within a few stops. Bahnstormer's did me a good deal, and it came with the usual, MOT/TAX/Warranty/Assist/full tank of go-go juice.
Myself and Mr Marlou had a chat so I was able to confirm the history, which was a real plus when buying a used vehicle, thank you for that mate
Happy days!

Your welcome, and as your that close maybe a ride out some day???? I could tempt you with a bacon sarnie and a cuppa at H-cafe or Alton station cafe....![]()
