As above really, anyone have an effective rear guard fitted?
Hi, yes the bike i'm buying has a fender extender on already but i was wondering if there is a product you can buy for the rear guard as well. I'll have alook at that Wunderlich one now, thanks.Do you mean a Mudsling that sits at the front of the back wheel or the one that fits behind the number plate?
I had a Wunderlich one on my GS. Wouldn't fit the GSA with the scaffolding on. So, sold it on here a few weeks back. It was good, it stopped the water from spraying up the back. And, I had a mudsling that stopped shit getting on the rear shock etc. I never didn't have it if you know what I mean, so don't know how much better it was.
It says that works with the OEM pannier rails too, assume that's for the GSA.I’ve got a Cymarc one, keeps the plate from going squiffy as well

Created to protect your licence plate from melting due to your exhaust! Also reduces the amount of dirt from the road which can get thrown up over the rear of the bikewww.cymarcbikeparts.co.uk
Very kind of you, i'm more than happy to buy if these are recommended to divert the water. If you're not in a rush, and pay postage, I am sure I have a Cymarc one somewhere - just need to find it and post it!
If Martylaa doesn't take this, could I take it please? Quite happy to pay. I'm in no rush.If you're not in a rush, and pay postage, I am sure I have a Cymarc one somewhere - just need to find it and post it!
+1 for the Mark Hooton “Cymarc” deflector. When I got mine, they were CNC laser cut with a “GS LC” logo (still makes me smile when the sun’s shining in the right direction & the letters appear on the back wheel!)I’ve got a Cymarc one, keeps the plate from going squiffy as well
