Hi all,
Has anyone got any long-term reports on the Trailmax Raids on the big GS’es?

What pressures do you run them on? What about off-road?
How did they handle the road when wet? Do they tramline/track grooves and mini-ruts at low speed or high speed?
How are the vibrations?
How easy do they fling off stuck mud?
How many miles did they last?
How many miles did the rear last until it was no longer effective for off-road?

Good questions and I'm interested to hear the answers. I've just had a set fitted but waiting on other parts before I can get back on the road.

I have a set of trailmax raids on a 1250gsa...

What pressures do you run them on? What about off-road? they were fitted with 2.5bar front and 2.9bar rear.. ran them on road and trails with same pressure
How did they handle the road when wet? Do they tramline/track grooves and mini-ruts at low speed or high speed? i have no issues with handling, when wet roads it does let go a little in heavy rain
How are the vibrations? Noticable, not offensively more than standard bridgestone from new
How easy do they fling off stuck mud?
How many miles did they last?
looking at current wear im expecting to change shortly after 3000 miles
How many miles did the rear last until it was no longer effective for off-road? had no issues with tread on trails....

hope that helps

Will respond with more in a week or 2, just put a set on a GS1300 adv on weds for a 12k trip round Australia, 90% on dirt (loaded with soft luggage, tent etc.) So far have only been using tarmac around Brisbane whilst preparing, obviously noisier than road tires, but not overly so. Feels a bit squarish, on the edge as I lean into corners at times, anyone who rode on crossplys will know the feeling, and doesnt want to lean in in comparison to the original Tourance that were on, which was a weird feeling at first, but normal, its a 50/50 after all, that said no issues, just different. Vibration at 80/90 kmh on highway is negligible, perfectly acceptable and I am comfortable facing at least four hrs on them on highway before I hit dirt. Hopefully I wont be able to respond re mud, but record rainfalls in the outback tend to suggest otherwise. Couple of people here ive met have managed over 8k (5k miles ) on these and still on the bike, but thats probably a lot of dirt and less tarmac. Based on local input they reckon I should be able to do at least 7.5/8 k if I look after them before I would need to consider changing , let's see.
I am currently running 2.6/2.9 bar (37/40psi) (on tarmac), they put 2.8 in front after fitting and the steering felt extremely light especially at lights et , 2.6 feels much more precise. I may go up a bit once all luggage is on 2.7/2.9? 39/42psi, will see.

I’m running them on my 1200 Rallye LC.
Not done many miles yet, I think about a thou give or take.
I find they howl a bit at about 70mph, this is a necessary evil for me sometimes .
Not really ridden them in the wet yet, been hot and dry down here in Devon.
I think I’m running 2.5 bar front and 2.9 rear.
Only been on light trails at the moment as still prepping up for more difficult trails.
Did end up on some sandy trails, not deep sand but enough, in France back in early June, purely by chance while fully loaded and two up. I was expecting to get stuck but everything went ok.

I’ve also ridden on the Karoo 4 tyres off road and slightly more rougher trails and was quite impressed, but again, dry and dusty.
