Anyone seen the new R nineT at their BMW dealers?
I've ordered one, haven't seen one, can't wait. Any impressions?

Maybe they did? Tried to visualise a 650 version. A little like a 07-08 XCo?

All I can say us I saw it a CW a couple of weeks ago and it looked and sounded great, the guy who got off it was probably 6ft and I asked him how he got on was extremely enthusiastic.

No room in my garage or money left in my wallet or I would be very tempted.

Seems strange that someone would order an expensive bike without even seeing it 'in the flesh'. Without sitting on it, seeing if it fits etc.

Of course, we now live in the Amazon world where we buy most of our things without actually seeing, touching or using the real thing. We pre-order the latest version, just to have it first .... then complain that its worse than the old model.

That's progress for you I suppose.

Nice bike though. Ive sat on one, and actually 'got on my knees' to have a look at its bits. I thought it looked/felt a bit 'budget' , with things like centre spoke wheels, thin orange-peely frame paint and nasty welding.
