A bit Skyway-esq.

What sorta money are these in the UK.?

The RT mudguard shares the same mounting setup as the GS (one bolt on each lower fork leg, double bolts to the bottom yoke). From one of their Instagram videos, you can see they've used a couple of drop plates to make up the gap between GS yoke and the RT guard (around 44sec)

The other mudguard is also S1K, same as Hartl. However, LRT have no visible upper clamp on the forks and I can't work out how they're mounting it - unless they're welding a tab onto the fork slider and then refinishing maybe?

I called into Mansell Motorrad recently and saw a very interesting bike. BMW have been very impressed with what Gregg Mansell has achieved with his 1300GS hillclimb bike such as 17 inch wheels and numerous other tuning and handling mods. A!so the guy can certainly ride.

BMW have now built a special factory bike for Gregg for him to race and develope over the next two years. He's confident that he can lower the outright hill climb record next month. The bike is improved in every area. Much more powerful engine, closer and stronger gearbox, improved suspension and brakes and improved ground clearance. Significantly lighter with extensive carbon fibre everywhere.

Looks great. I'll check if I'm allowed to post up pics.

Would love to see some close ups of the bike.

Sounds like the M version may be getting closer ^^^ (y)

Interesting after Ducati Multistrrada has become longer and heavier at each revamp over the years. A proper bike to challenge the Pikes Peak head on, with better tyre choices and real world fuel consumption..

Delivered today, will update with pics once I’ve got them on…still need to come up with a solution for the RR mudguard.

Please do update us. I am very close to ordering a pair, blue anodised or black for my white 1300gs. Plan is to sort the installation over winter, to make sure everything is in order.. I just need to check on insurance to see what if any affect it will have on price and available cover.

Has to be blue anodised.

They look very nice - be good to see them fitted and how handling changes
Not had a chance to fit them yet, but I’v been riding with a 17 on the front of the GS (RT wheel) and can only say positive things about it, I wanted to try it before committing to the expense of the OZ wheels. I came form a Multi/Pikes Peaks so perhaps more used to it.

What, combined with the standard back wheel? Interesting…
It looks like the Oz set up allows for a 180 rear, I guess before the tyre touches the GS swing arm. So its not a big difference to the 170.

Yes, with the standard 4.5 wide GS wheel. The OZ rear is 5.5 and plenty of clearance with the 180 on the rear. The R/RS/RT rear wheel is 6 inch I’m sure, but I never got a rear to go with the RT front, so can’t comment. There is lots of info on the German GS forum with guys running the 6 inch on the rear, some have swapped the swing arm for the RS/R so the offset on the rear will is correct.
