I should have ordered wire wheels for my GS LC but got the grey cast ones. Is anyone in the opposite situation that might want to do a swap? Mine are in perfect condition and fitted with new Tourance Next tyres which I will leave on.

I think the wires were a significant cost option. Good luck, but I'll be surprised if you get a straight swap

A £370 option to have spokes from the factory. :)

If you don't tick this option, it will than cost you £1700 just for the wires without tyres.

How do i no :( i have some In the FOR SALE section.

Hi. I bought a used 2014 TE with spoked wheels but would prefere the standard alloy type. Do yours have the tyre pressure monitors in them and do you know if they will work if we swap the wheels? Thanks

Hi. Mine have TPM and I am pretty sure they would work after a swap. If not I think we could swap the TPM units themselves. If you PM me with some contact details we can discuss if you're interested in progressing.

Yes and no, if both wheels have TPM, when you swop the wheels you will need them coding into your ecu otherwise it will not recognise the new wheel sensors and the dash icon will appear. To remove the TPM units to swop around will not work, wire wheels have different shaped sensors and thus do not fit mags.

I've swopped wheels around several times and it brings the dash icon on, i usually just put a bit of black tape over the icon and wait till i have it serviced and ask the dealer to program FOC if you have a good relationship with your dealer that is, alternative they'll probably charge £20-£30 to program .

Also make sure you keep your original discs and swop them around.
